Arrived in France alone.

After Mickael left for Pudong airport on Dec 20's night, i packed my luggage and made sure that i took all stuff what i need in France. Long distance trip again, just like before it wasn't so easy to calm down which i only slept for 3-4 hours at night, woke up at 3:45am on Dec 21's early morning, killed some time and left for Pudong airport at 6am. This taxi driver was kinda dumb which i paid for 158RMB, the road condition was pretty good while it was 6am, for my safety's sake, i didn't argue with him, let it go.

I checked in and then was told that my flight would be transitted to Beijing at first place which i was so shocked, i never expected that and just worried if it would be late for Paris, actually i worried too much.

Well, i was lucky to get a window seat and a french man sitting next to me, but i swear to the God, we didn't talk at all during the flight from Shanghai to Beijing. Around 90 minutes' flight, we were in Beijing international airport. The funny thing is the staff in Beijing Custom was telling me i looked extreamly slim than the photo on my passport, it made me feel great, ghahaha.

The flight from Beijing to Paris was absolutely long for me, especially without hubby, i wished my hubby was with me on the plane, well, not too bad, as the french guy next to me chatted a lot with me along the way about his chinese wife, impression, finacial crisis around the world, different foreigners' personality, blah blah blah, at least it didn't make my trip way too boring. Additional, he helped me for finding and moving my heavy luggage and took me to the exit, afterwards he said goodbye to me and left for Lyon where he lives. Who said french people is a$$hole?!

Volia, i got out on Terminal 1 and saw no one from my family which was extremely upset, i kept waiting for over 40 minutes, plus i was way too exhausted after 12 hours' flight without good sleep, then i started nervous and tried to find someone for help, well, one chinese woman just made a phone call to her french family, after she ended the call, i asked her if she's chinese, yes, she is, then i asked her if she could make a phone call to my hubby's home, she did for me, however no one was home to answer. Then i chatted with her a little bit to release my nervous. She also was waiting for her french hubby to pick her up. Suddently i saw my hubby showed up and walked forward to me, hmm, i felt so security finally. My mother-in-law, sisiter-in law, father-in law all came to the airport to pick me up, i'm the happiest girl in the world.oyho.

Memory of Grandfather forever

Grandfather passed away in the early morning of Dec 14, his funeral was finished by Dec 16’s afternoon. I really don’t know where to start about my grandfather’s story. The funeral, fete, tears, all things come out on my mind from time to time.

The most impressed memory is that my grandfather always was in the living room when we visited them on holiday, he was just sitting over there and waiting for us coming back home to get together. He always cared of us about of our life and work, sometimes we thought the overly caring was annoying, however we are not going to hear his voice anymore, life is short which is so true. I had grown up and lived with them until I was 16, afterwards I moved to Shanghai with my parents. I left my grandfather nearly 9 years which I visited them regularly once a year, that was so less.

I really do miss my grandfather though his body wasn’t here anymore with us, but I do believe he lives in our hearts forever. I tried my best to stay with his body in the living room in the past three days, he was so skinny that his face wasn’t be recognized by those people who haven’t seen him a lot. I know, he was my grandfather, sleeping so peacefully in the coffin, just peacefully.

The toughest time for me is the farewell for grandfather’s body in the crematorium, it was the first time for me to visit so serious and scared place in the world, the video man made a tape for us, after the farewell, we went to buy the stone box for grandfather’s bone ash, we picked a stone one with nice décor finally and asked them to carved grandfather’s name, birth date and death date. Later we were waiting in the restroom and was told that we could watch the video together, it was extremely sad and I saw my grandfather for the last time before he was sending to the first cinerator, I hate this. A couple of minutes later, the staff sent my grandfather’s bone ash to the restroom which was wrapped by the red silk. My dad took it and put into the stone box, the big body turned into a box of ash, this is the most astonished thing I ever experienced before.

Well, life needs to move on, i do miss my grandfather! Rest in peace!

Our new apartment is pretty close to Caobao Road subway station which has the nest view from our 2 balconies(South&North).

Basically we could see Xujiahui, Tomorrow square, TV tower, Jin mao tower, World Financial Center, Lu pu bridge, Nan pu bridge, ,most of the Shanghai landmarks are viewed so easily in our 19th floor sweet home, gahgahagahhh.

Thailand shuts down the second airport

Just watched the international news that Thailand airport are such a chaos, they shut down the second airport which all passengers are stuck in there over 48 hours.

One American tourist weren't calm down and yelled as what they often do all over the world: I wanna go to Phuket, what's wrong with those people. A$$hole, don't you see those Thail pretesters fighting for their own right?! Shut up, loser! Do not never ever expect other people treat you like GOD when you're being a$$hole,dude.

Well, it has been raining for 2 days which makes our mood blue, however we are told that our wedding albums are done, we could pick anytime.

Great, so finally got all products we ordered, including 3 albums(large+middle+mini), 3 small frames, 2 large inch typical wedding frames, 1 post, 1 big red suitcase, hmmm, so lovely, oh, and 56 pictures and 1 CD, and 35 invitation cards with inserted photo.

All right, photoes are more than any words, tatah, now is midnight so i'd like to post only 1 photo, to be continued tomorrow:)

We're husband and wife NOW!

We almost choked last Sat when Marriage register told us that French Consulate made a mistake of translation of Mickael's name. We were so pissed off and i even wanted to punch someone.

Fine, Mickael went to french consulate to get new documents, what i'm not surprised is no one apologized in French consulate, come on. Due to their mistake, we lost one day for our marriage process, it's straightly related with getting family booklet and visa and flight ticket,etc. Losing one day maybe means lose one week. Yep, Mickael often says that, it's true.

And today, we went to marriage register again, well, everything went on very well, all documents were correct and we were required to pay 9RMB, after we filled out our declareation form, we were taken into that marriage presenting hall, the staff announced we're husband and wife, congratulations. Only 5 seconds, suddently we're a legal couple in China.

Our current landlord called me this morning which it surprised me, he asked when we would move out and he would ask his friend to come over and handle our deposit and some bills. The bad news is he'll have an operation in Ruijin Hospital soon:(

Anyway we decide to move into the new apartment this Sunday, hope we will get the keys on Sat for good:-)

My brain is basically stuck and unsorted and disordered now, you can't imagine how many phone calls i made home today, how many hours i talked on the phone with the current landlord, old and new agents, moving company, even on msn with Mickael to report the proceed of our trouble a$$hole landlord.

There's nothing messed up more than our house contract and landlord issues. I really don't wanna recall the bad news i got from the old agent this morning about the current landlord changing his mind again, blah blah blah blah

All in all, he just wants to get some reibursement back as we informed him about our moving too late, nonsense, i double checked the contract and confirmed with the agency, we're right, just because this landlord can't accept this truth.

Good news is that our new agent has done a great job to find a "client" who claimed to move into on Nov 15, suddently the landlord called my cell phone which i wasn't expected all the time, it looked he had a good mood and told me that we need to move out before Nov 15. So we should postone our moving plan tomorrow, instead of visiting Seattle Residence, then go sign the new house contract with the new landlord and new agency.

Bad news is that i'm really not sure if when the old landlord will change his mind again on this issue, it looks like we can trust him this time without any paper, this is not fair for us. God, please, Mishi finds "that client" asap. If not, we should renew our contract with him for one more year which we need to face with, meanwhile we'll lose 4,550RMB as we'll sign the new contract with another person and tomorrow we'll only pay one month's rental as the deposit.

This is a good lesson for any of us, when we deal with the money stuff or the contract stuff, we should double read and think about every single details. Try to pay less as the deposit, even if we're in trouble, the deposit doesn't hurt our heart a lot.

My wishes now are:
1.Hope our current landlord doesn't change his mind anymore and keep his word.
2.Hope we can move out next weekend.
3.Hope our current landlord gives lefted deposit back.

French consulate today, we'll be get married 2 weeks later.

We had an appointment with Mr. Jean-Claude Mortier at 11am in French Consulate today, honestly speaking, i wasn't nervous at all before we arrived there.

We got there on time and we were waiting in the room a little bit, fine, i was still cool. Nah, actually the temperature was around 29 degrees, other people also complained it was to hot, or someting wrong with their air-con, whatever.

Voila, here we are, Mr.Jean-Claude Mortier called Mickael, so we followed him and went to his office, we were asked to present our passports and copy documents, plus he gave 3 pieces of paper to fill out which it was in french. I don't have any clue, i asked Mickael for help, suddently i realized that my hands were sweating, a lot, lol. What a serious and important moment for us!

After Mr. Jean-Claude Mortier got all documents he required, the INTERVIEW started, as follow conversation:

1. Jean-Claude: When did you meet each other? Where? Why?
Joyce: We met each other in March 17,2007.
Mickael: In Shanghai. That was a french party, a house party.

2. Jean-Claude:Have we seen each other's parents already? When?
Mickael: We met Joyce's parents last Mother's day.
Joyce: That was May 17, i guess.
Jean-Claude: So have you ever seen Mickael's parents? Or his parents visited Shanghai?
Joyce: Nope, not yet, we chatted on MSN and saw them.

3. Jean-Claude:How do parents feel like of Mickael? What was the first impression?
Mickael: Her parents like me .
Jean-Claude: They like you or more that like?
Mickael:Yes, more than like, the first impression was great, they're good people.

4. Jean-Claude:Do we live together? Sure?
Mickael: Yes.
Joyce: Errr, yes, i used to live with my parents, but now i live with Mickael most of the time.
Jean-Claude: Are you sure? Now you live with him?
Joyce: Yes, i'm pretty sure about this.

5. Jean-Claude:Do we have a plan to make a baby? When?
Mickael: We want to have a baby next year.
Joyce: Errr, nope, i want to have a baby after our wedding, so that'll be next summer.

6. Jean-Claude:Do we have a plan to buy an real estate in China?
Joyce: Yes, we used to have that plan, and now the real estate market in China is so weak and uncontrollable, we will wait a little bit.
Jean-Claude: Yeah, all markets, everywhere.

7. Jean-Claude:Has Joyce ever been to Schengen countries? Has Joyce ever visited France?
Joyce: Not yet, never, but i have a plan to visit them during the Christmas this year.

8. Jean-Claude:Do you have any plans for the future? Are you ready for your Chinese work contract?
Mickael: Yes, we will work and live in Shanghai for next few years. The Chinese work contract will be not a problem for me.

Voila, the interview is finished, simple and sharp, everyone needs to be honest. They will smell it if you cheat. Mr. Jean-Claude wrote down everything on that red paper as the proof, haha, and now we're told that we need to wait for 10 days as they will make a public notice about our marriage for us. I guess we need to visit him 10 days later to get French booklet.

12 sharp, our appointment was done.

Landlord issue,we're in trouble.

We got a larger new apartment last Sunday finally, then i called our current landlord who were so gentle and nice, suddently he turned into a bad rude man through our phone converstaion this Monday.

He said it was too late to inform him, so he asked us to find another new client to rent his apartment immediately. He accused that i should have told him 2 months earlier. What a nonsense! I double checked our rental contract, it's written we should inform the landlord if we want to renew our rental contract, if not, we just need to move out in 3 days before the contract ends. Obviously this landlord does misunderstood overly and overly!!! Even he asked me to read the contract carefully, this is so ridiculous.

The second day, i called him again and he shouted and screamed through the phone again, he didn't give me any chance to explain which he was compeletely WRONG on this issue. Damn, what kinda human being it is?! He brings us to a wrose situation, he asked us to stay one more months, then we can leave whatever he finds a new client or not, this is so unacceptable. He also said that he didn't wanna give us back 9000RMB deposit, gosh, this is a robbery. I asked him to calm down and let the agency to talk to him, he was so angry for nothing and crazy.

I called the agency and explained every single detail to them , they fully understand us and will try to talk to the landlord, still, no news from the agency so far, i'd better call again.

Today is not my day! God damn it!

I got up at 6am and went out to take the subway to my client's office when it was raining, everything was okay even i got a seat in the subway, was glad to wear my favoriet high-heels. Tahtah, eventually i arrived at Xinzhuang Station, errrr, i even don't wanna recall it again, so disguesting. Well, i walked as usuall, however suddently i felt like i was "flying" in one second, fcuk, i slipped and fell down, my arm got a little bit hurt, especially my butt, that was killing me, fortunately i'm young and i can survive. Which bastard keeps the vomit stuff here a little bit? Which bastard is in charge of cleaning station? As you know, i haven't slipped and fell down for ages.

Still i need to mention:
1. All passengers were just watching and passing when they saw i felt down, yeah, what a nice drama! CHINESE PEOPLE were so MEAN and CRUEL, especially CHINESE MEN, gentlemen in China mainland? NO ONE. FUCK!

2. At the end, one Shanghainese woman helped me to stand up which i'm so appreciate:)

Try to leave this crowded hell as soon as possible. Count down for the Christmas NOW!

Today i realise that my monthly salary increases a lot lately which i absolutely can afford a decent Louis Vuitton bag. However i'm still not satisfied with the salary now, or let's say how much money will be enough for me in the end, it's a tough question, also endless. I'm so greedy, i want to make a lot of money now! This is my target by the end of this year.

Recently it's real that i'm under lots of pressure, the work, the life, especially the wedding, you know how much it will cost you if you have a wedding in Shanghai? Over 150,000RMB which also depends on how many people you will invite and where to have honey moon,air tickets, brand of diamond ring, special wedding plan, wedding dresses, blah blah blah. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.

150,000RMB means a lot for young chinese couples, guess how many years they need to work hard and save hard. Mickeal is french, i wish he was chinese so that his parent could help him a little bit at least, but he isn't. The chinese traditon is the groom's family(parents) take care of the house purchase, decro expense, the whole wedding expense, well, yes, all chinese people work hard and save hard for the whole life just for their sons' wedding, what the FCUK. They're not liveing for themselves but for their sons. Just becasue those people lead the wedding way over and over, therefore the wedding expense increases as much fast and high as the rocket, and of course the face thing. Who doesn't wanna deserve a brillant and amazing wedding for once in their whole life?!

I used to be so tired of the wedding warm up, such as search good hotels, agencies for wedding photograph, wedding plans, etc. One day, i almost wanted to give up, as i really didn't get it why we need to spend so much MONEY&TIME on the wedding. Why can't we just have a small decent causal wedding party? WHY? The answer is i'm chinese, for my family good, for my own good, we just need to do it.

Holiday, holiday, holiday, holiday means full people everywhere, good for Shanghai tourism, good for Shopping malls, good for restuarants and so on, perhaps also good for theives, lots of targets for them, gaagagaga
We went to Super Brand Mall, what a huge one! But unfortunately i didn't see many super brands, such as Gucci, Dior, Longchamp, but H&M and ZARA, they're okay for me.

What a lovely night view of World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower! They look great, don't they?

I hate the flash on my face. Can you imagine how slow the driving speed in front of TV pearl tower was at Oct 1st night? Extremly SLOW, we stood there for about 10-15 minutes to take some pictures of the TV tower, we observed that those buses even didn't move on at all though the green traffic light was on again and again. Geez, the traffic jam was just SUPER heavy.

Then some red color caught loads of people's eyes indeed, that was Ferrari. Damn it, what the hell was that red car doing here? I heard your engine, that performance should be good. But look at this photo, if you were the driver, what kinda feeling would you have behind those big and tall buses during such crazy traffic jam? You couldn't move on within 10 meters in 10-15 minutes. I prefer calling you NERD.

Here it is, my wedding shoes. Thank you baby, you always bought me good stuff:)))) Honestly speaking, i can't imagine that i'm getting married so quickly, only 6 months left for get prepared. I got butterflies in my stomach, i mean we will go take wedding photograph in Oct,22. Now i'm still kinda fat, having some acnes on my face, actually i haven't paid too much attention on my keep-fit. But i swear i will make it happen in the next 2 weeks for our own good. Tough time!

Plus, baby also bought one more paire of white shoes for me, i can wear them for working. I never knew that the white shoes looked so good on me:)

It's rarely to have a garden in the downtown of Shanghai, unless i have a villa or live on the first floor perhaps.

In fact, we used to bought a lot plants in IKEA for the decro, however most of them died in one week, so sad. Then i realised that those IKEA plants were protected well and never experienced the hot/cold weather, that's why they die so quickly after they leave their home(IKEA). Same for human being in our life, we will be strong and brave after we go through ups and downs.

Well, back to the point, i bought those plants from the vendors and flower shop which was great, they grow up healthily in our balcony and enjoy the nature well:)

We'll attend a new born baby's dinner party in Oct 10, therefore i bought some clothes in Les en phants this evening. I chose PINK series as i think baby girl will look definitely cute after she wears it, hheheh...

I wish we would had a baby girl as the first child after we get married so that i could make her to be the cutest baby in the world. Yet, i did experienced my friend's chaos life who has a baby boy, fighting, all boys' toys, cars, etc, i just can't imagine how rapidly i will get old if we have a little monster, in fact, there's a BIG one here already.

By the way, can't you see my wrinkles on my face clearly?! Huhhhh

I am a star today, My Birthday!

Today is my birthday which is great.

My colleagues sent a b-day card to me and sang the birthday song(in Chinese and French) this morning.

My other 2 close ex-colleagues waited for me in the lobby downstairs during the noon time, M asked me to closed my eyes because J bought something for me, in fact, i didn't realise it was for celebrating my b-day when they asked me out for lunch. Well, beautiful flowers(Lily) were presented in front of me when i was told to open my eyes. So lovely they are... Thanks to M&J:-)

So what was the best gift i receive today? Well, the HP Pavilion laptop, Mickael bought for me 2 days ago in BestBuy. Merci beaucoup, my Cheri!

Moon Festival!

Yesterday was the mid-autumn festival, also called moon festival which as important as the Chinese New Year, it means the whole family get together. What we can't miss is to eat the moon cakes, obviously the moon cakes are on hot seller in the past one week, you may see passengers holding mooncakes packages everywhere.

However we didn't miss it instead of staying in the balcony and oberving the MOON which was so beautiful although lots cloud covered it from time to time, we still caught some images, here it is.

I had this feeling when i walked on the streets today, i got so bored of Shanghai, if you ask me if i wanna get out of Shanghai, i will give you a positive answer: YES! I just don't like this city anymore which is so crowded and chaos, fulled of unpolite people almost everything.

I don't know why i say it, it's not as i got emotional today, but i have had this enough. I still remember our holiday in Thailand, we took the subway in the working day in Bangkok, there were some seat and no one ran to grab them, but in Shanghai... Thai people stepped into the subway without pushing each other, but in Shanghai, even worse, my arm got hurt so seriously this morning, F**K... Thai people took elevator one by one orderly on the right side, but in Shanghai... Thai people didn't talk that loudly in the coffee shops and restaurants, but in Shanghai...Being a chinese, i feel so ashamed on them.

I swear i certainly won't let my kids to study in Shanghai and become that selfish and cold blood.

Chinese restaurants, Starbucks, subway stations, Haagen-Dazs.... Yes, Haagen-Dazs, i was there for one cup of coffee this afternoon, gosh, it was totally like a wet market, i even could hear people talking 2 tables away from me. I paid, i got the coffee, but i didn't enjoy it at all. Such a Chaos....

Where could i find a little bit peace in Shanghai? Not even mention the big book store on Fuzhou Rd, there's no differene from other places, however i found it this afternoon, only in the small bookstore. That's all.

We started the meeting from 4:30pm and it ended up at 8:20pm, it was such a nightmare and torchure for almost everyone except that who organised it. DAMN IT! It says around 20 min's meeting is efficient, such a long meeting doesn't make any sense, instead it makes people's mood worse. How could people has a serious brain organise such disordered shit?!

The bad thing is we must go through these kinda meeting each weekend, come on,dude, find something else funny to play with, stay away from us who really care about the life quality more than the F**king $$ in your eyes. Damn it!

Back to the points, i will leave the downtown for a called training which means some Beijing&Guangzhou colleagues will share the work experience with us together from Sep 17-19. Well, fine, at least i will learn a lot from them in order to service better to my big accounts.

However it means i will share one room with one people for 2 days in the hotel, guess who, i think i know it now, oh, no, that's her, how could i share one room with this kinda people who has"TWO FACES"(she talks bad in the back of me)? Well, my close colleague told me the truth before, such as she is so jealous of young girl who especially will marry with a french guy soon, she thinks she is the most beautiful woman in the world, she thinks her everything is the best, looks down on other people, blah blah blah.

In my life, i'm not going to forgive her, i need to face her currently just because the work, business is business. I'm professional. She will know it's NO GOOD AT ALL to talk bad behind people until my wedding next March 21, as her name never showed up on my guests list, haha....

I was run into watching F1 Belguim

tonight, sometimes we really need to believe in FATE. Hamilton wins based on the raining day mostly, he's just lucky today.

In the last 5 laps, KIMI was still ahead of all racers, Hamilton was in the 2nd place, however it was starting raining, it made the race more dangerous and exciting, all racer did't speed up for their own good.

When all audiences thought the Champion belonged to KIMI for sure, suddently KIMI's car was out of the track and seriously got damaged in the last 2 laps:( So he was out for this season. What a pity!

Kimi Rikkonen has won the last three Belgian Grands Prix. (I saw KIMI Raikkonen 2 years ago in Tomorrow Square, he was really cool, good luck!)

September is really a BIG month, bad things, what could be worse? Good things... Anyway, we figured it out finally after 2 miserable weeks, our relationship is getting back on the track, thanks to the God.

Besides, my favorite TV series, Gossip girl season 2 and Prison break Season 4 are both back on screen, hmmm, can't wait to watch them all tonight.

What's worth to mention is i really like Blake Lively(Serena), i admit that all those girls in Gossip girl are fashionable and pretty, however Blake Lively is more stylish and charming:)

In Prison break, i admire Michael Scotfield, i guess he's the smartest man in the world, in the drama certainly. The rumor says that Wentworth Miller is gay, what's the point?! The werid thing is "Prison break" isn't on the top list in America, but in China it is. Looking forward to the new season as the writer makes "Sarah" alive, should be very interesting.

I've been so UNHAPPY these days, i do not wanna talk with anyone, i wanna take it myself and to see what will happen in the end, i feel the life is so hopeless now. I thought our life was managed so well, in fact, it isn't what i expect. I cried a lot but it doesn't help anything, and now what should i do? I really don't know, just waiting for the judgement from him or what?

I wish my work would be busy so that at least i can focus on my clients, however once i stop working, the whole thing comes out suddently on my mind, people can't see my smile on my face anymore even i pretend to be smiling. Life is difficult. I know it.

Only those people who used to get through may understand what i'm thinking, so what, i even don't care if other people will understand me, i prefer him. to knowing it. When will he realize that his commitment is so meanful and important for me? When will he understand my situation? I don't see it. So many questions to be answered.

I was so excited this morning as i finally made a decison to lose weight a little bit/keep-fit, 2 bananas+1cup of milk was my breakfast today, plus 1 apple would be my lunch today, however when it was around 11:20am, my boss asked me to have lunch with, what else could i say?! I do realize that i gain some weight lately, surely so does Mickeal, and now i'm concerned about our abdomen if we will look well especially on our wedding photography which we're going to take in 2 months.

Acutally i made a decision not to eat lunch today in the office, however my colleague attempted me, so fianlly we still ordered lunch delivery, stupid me! What i can make it up is i must eat less since tomorrow, so basically 1 banaba+1 apple+1 cup of milk will be my breakfast and lunch. I hope i can get through of it!

3. Dandelion, turnip and mustard greens

Plus, a healthy liver brightens our eyes and tightens our skin." She recommends dense green foods such as broccoli, spinach and arugula—as well as turnip, mustard and dandelion greens. 4. Oregano, thyme and parsley
"If you have puffy bags under your eyes in the morning, you are almost certainly consuming much more salt than you need," says Doris Day, M.D., author of Forget the Facelift: Turn Back the Clock with a Revolutionary Program for Ageless Skin. "Another problem is alcohol: It dehydrates you and can make your skin sag. The worst combination is alcohol and salt, which causes puffy dark circles under your eyes." Dr. Day recommends reducing your sodium intake to eliminate bloating. Instead of salt, season your meals with herbs and spices such as oregano, thyme, rosemary, parsley and garlic.

5. Crunchy vegetables
Fresh raw veggies are as good for your grin as they are for your skin! Celery, carrots, string beans and cauliflower contain cellulose, which helps scrub stains from your teeth—giving you a whiter, brighter smile. "Both the cellulose and the [other] fiber in these foods act as abrasives that clean and remove bacteria from teeth," says Mickey Bernstein, M.D., president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Crunchy veggies are especially effective for recent discolorations. If you've just consumed blueberries, coffee, mustard, red wine or cranberry juice, follow it up with fresh cucumber slices or an apple.

6. Sea vegetables

"Polluted cells can't function at their optimum level. When our cells are functioning optimally, not only do we have more energy—we look and feel great," says nutritionist Carol Wasserman. "Sea vegetables are one of our richest sources of minerals and phytochemicals." These veggies help detoxify, rebuild and nourish all the cells in our body. Unhealthy foods, stress and environmental pollutants cause cells to age prematurely, potentially leading to thinning hair and premature wrinkles. 7. Meat, cheese and lentils
It may take 10 pounds of milk to make a pound of cheese, but fortunately you don't need to eat that much dairy or protein to repair your cells. As you age, your hair and skin cells become damaged, making you appear older. The protein in meat, chicken, low-fat cheese, cottage cheese, and certain vegetables promotes cell growth and repair, which translates to younger-looking skin, fewer wrinkles, less hair loss and a glossy mane. 8. Egg yolks, organ meats and whole-milk products

The main sources of this vitamin are foods from animals, such as liver, eggs and whole-milk dairy products. 9. Almond or hemp "milk"

10. Wild salmon with avocado and mango dressing

The pink/orange color of wild salmon is an anti-aging carotenoid called astaxanthin that protects cell membranes." OH MY GOSH! It rained cats and dogs this morning in Shanghai, i left home at 7:15am, i was so confused when i was in the lobby of our apartment, should i go out or just stay and wait?

Actually i wasn't allowed to think that much, as we moved to the new office so i'd better get tothe office earlier and unpack those stuff.

Not so many people were so brave to walk on the streets instead of waiting, waiting and waiting. Water were fulled of the whole streets, everywhere, it left me no choice to walk through it, well, i might say it brought me back to Pattaya Beach(Thailand), just not that romantic, hahaha...

I did looked like a NERD while my jeans and PUMA shoes were filled with water. I think today is the worst day i ever had in my life.

Pawpaw tastes so odd

My colleague mentioned that pawpaw milk soup was great for CUP improvement, i also heard quite often, but i never tried that before, not mention tasting the pawpaw.

Then i got one while we were in Careefour last weekend, so tonight i decided to cook it with milk&sugar, well, the result is the taste of the pawpaw is SO WERID, ouahhhhhh, i still don't feel comfortable now as i drunk the milk. How can those girls are so courage to eat that?

Subway security check up

When i was in the subway station this morning, that security guy stopped me (the second time)to check my bag as i have a big leather one on my arm, geez, i just put one bag of milk and some cookies as my breakfast, so technically, my bag didn't look that full. Whatever, they asked me to open my bag and they just took a glance, and then finished, they even didn't really check inside of my bag if i hided something dangerous.

Tomorrow is the opening day for Olympic games in Beijing, China, wishing all is the best!

Today again, both of us are so exhausted after we made lots of important decisions on the 2008 Wedding Exhibition Centre.

1) We have booked the wedding dinner party in the hotel, therefore our Wedding day is March, 21, 2009.

2) We've chosen our wedding planning designers.

So far, we've paid all deposits of all items, the next first step for us is to go to the hotel tasting the food if it's OKAY, the next second step is to cooperate the wedding planners for ideas, decor, etc. I will upload some photoes later on.

My eyes now are so tired, gotta go sleep, because i need to get up very early for the DAMN meeting with ***, *(*, blah blah blah...

2008 Wedding Exhibition

We went to 2008 Wedding Expo this afternoon in Everbright Exhibition Centre, apparently this exhibition show was more than what i expected. I was so exhuasted now, especially my throat is over used i guess.

Here's what we've done today.
1) We made an order of our Wedding Photograph which stasfied with our needs. 3 albums with different sizes, 3 wedding photoes with frames, unlimited dresses using for free, 4 places for photo shooting, 30 invitation card with insert pictures for free, 1 big post, etc
PS: We plan to take the wedding photoes in the beginning of Nov this year.

2) Wedding candies and its boxes, we make a decision on this, we will go there again tomorrow to pay the deposit, we will buy a lot for guests, colleagues, neighbourhood...

3) We were suggested to go book one 5 star hotel for wedding dinner, definitely i will ask for more infomation. Our wedding dinner is supposed to hold next March 15, as the dinner booking in the hotel is the most important thing through the whole wedding process, also it depends on if the hotel is still available, it's directly related to the wedding date. Once we set the date, everything will be so easy.

Actually i studied a lot on Liba forum, there're so many useful info and tips for the whole wedding thing. And now i got a handbook with so many questions noted, those staff will be requested tomorrow by a tough ME, LOL.

We rent 2 chairs on the beach after lunch, so relax and comfort, i didn't wanna go back to Shanghai.
Since my feet got hurt, i couldn't do anything instead of lying on the chair. Mickael didn't wanna leave me alone on the beach for joining other water sports, such as banana boat, moto skiing. Therefore he went swimming and diving.

I walked in the sea shore without my shoes, i kept asking if i needed to put my shoes on as i was walking, when i was about to wear, tooooo LATE! The right feet was hurt by a rough sharp coral/rock in the sea. It was BLEEDING, a lot, lots of people were shocked by seeing the water getting RED, no one helped kindly as they were watching the DISCOVERY CHANNEL, but the Indian couple, i really appreciated with their help.

We booked 2 VIP tickets for the Tiffany's show in the hotel, and we were picked up by Tiffany's car, the service was perfect.
As we arrived at the lobby, each people got a free soft drink. The lobby finally were filled with people before 9pm, we also were informed that none photo taken when the show was on, what a pity.
Basically the show was interesting and humor, those lady-boys' performance was fine on the stage for singing(They can't sing like girls, so they just moved lips like they were really singing) and dancing.

Body guard??? By the way, no short pant allowed to enter, but all tourists could borrow skirt/pant in the office for free.
However, not too many options of pant, only this loosen, green one for men, hate to say it, it looks silly.
Girls are lucky, as there're a couple of colors of skirts, they gave me a green which kind of matched with my clothes:O

What a trap! Here's the story: at the beggining, i didn't study the map, just followed my feeling to the entrance of Grand Palace, well, the result was we almost fell into the TRAP. We walked for over 5 minutes along the wall(the wall of Grand Palace), as a newcomer, i absolutely didn't know it.

Finally we saw a side door with a soldier&Indian man, we tried to enter and were stopped by the Indian man which we were told that it was closed and only for Thai people for visiting G.P today. We were so disappointed, however the Indian man suggested us to wear in long sleeve and pant to visit G.P, we were so appreciate about his tips. He also showed us on the map about other temples and malls which were not that famous for tourists. He taught us how to negociated with the TukTuk driver, suddently he called one and tried to send us to the TukTuk. Gosh, i just realized that was such a trap. As i read some forum of Thailand trip about those traps, my memory was just freshed. I told him that we had our own plans, afterwards walked away with Mickael. That Indian's face told me that he was so down cause my wisdom, hahaha....

I was so wondering how i were so dumb for previous 3 minutes, maybe the hot weather, maybe that Indian's "KINDNESS", WHATEVER. Thanks God. We found way out and finally got to the main entrance door:-)

PS: Most of Thail people are still very friendly and kind.

We took the River Tour which means we could take the boat to each stop for sightseeing, we visited Memorial Bridge, China Town, Grand Palace.

Chatuchat(Forget to spell it correctly) weekend market is so huge, one day shouldn't be enough if you wanna visit all.
You can mostly find everything you need, such as clothes, shoes, decors, etc. Plus the price is soooooooo low.

So hungry after walking around, actually there're no decent restaurants in this market but locals. Well, when you're in Roma, do as Rome.

It was Sunnday, since the Grand Palace is closed on the weekends, we joined a tour to visit some other temples which included a van with Air-con and a local guide who can speaks okay English.
The first stop was Golden Buddha, our journey just got started in Thailand.
People must take off the shoes once stepping into the temples for respecting the Buddha. I couldn't remember how many times we took off and wore our shoes in the first few days, gosh!

The last dish was the shrimp salad, wasn't so into their salad which mixed with shrimps, onions, apple, corns,etc. We still finished some through we were stuck already.
